It is with great joy that I commend and celebrate Watchers on the Wall for their coverage of televised Westeros and House of the Dragon.

I was one of the original people at the beginning of Watchers. I saw the site grow from a group of people with a vision to the behemoth that it is now. I am so proud of everyone and everything Sue and Oz (with a crack team) have accomplished.

The beer reviews were amazing to write and I had such a good time at the cons. These are truly phenomenal people. I don’t think I have encountered a better group in my entire life. So much integrity and passion and humor and altogether awesomeness.

As I have passed on to the site’s leadership, my time has come and gone and I will no longer be officially linked to Watchers. I am always there for these incredible people and the work that they do but I will no longer be a part of it.

Am I still in fandom? Yes. Will I still read Watchers? Of course. Should you listen to Nights Cast? HELL YEAH.

Every single fiber in my being roots for Watchers on the Wall and I am so thankful to the site and the people behind it. I will treasure my memories and I can’t wait to see all the exclusives and scoops from them as the new show and ones beyond it roll out.

I wrote the following for Facebook but I don’t want it to live there so congrats, Tumblr! You are the recipient of one Cheetah hot take.

I will preface this by saying that I do not have my comic books with me, specifically the ones by George Perez that feature Cheetah’s origin story (sheltering in place 5 hours away from my comics collection). I am trying my best from memory and I beg ignorance for any holes in my arguments that could otherwise be explained by citing a specific issue or arc.
